Call of Duty: MW4 Reveals All the Season 1 Weapon Buffs and Nerfs

Activision has shared the full patch notes for Season 1 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and, alongside all the new content, the team has made plenty of adjustments to the various weapons. It's been a strong start for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 as the game has not only experienced positive critical reviews, but there has been strong word of mouth from the game's Early Access portions of DMZ and the campaign.

Still, with the game now live for all players, Infinity Ward has continued to make adjustments and changes to the core experience. Some adjustments have come from resulting controversial content, such as the real world video footage of the 2022 Itaewon Disaster, while other tweaks presented themselves from data points as well as players. For example, a popular DMZ perk called possum was nerfed after players used it to immediately take revenge on the player that downed them. As such, the ability to self-revive was blocked with the team or player still in the area or until 4 minutes have passed. With Season 1 launching, even more adjustments and changes are coming to Modern Warfare 4.

Another fan-favorite Call of Duty game could be getting a second life, with new evidence pointing toward a potential release on modern consoles.

A couple of weeks after the game's global launch, Activision is preparing to launch Season 1 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 , which adds new content across DMZ, versus modes, while also integrating Warzone .
