PlayStation 5 gamers have a new open-world co-op game to play on November 5. PlayStation 5 has its fair share of open-world games, including quite a few co-op entries. Oftentimes, the biggest and most popular open-world games are single-player adventures, and when they're co-op, they usually fit into a specific box.
Many of the open-world co-op games on PS5 are survival games, like the recently-released Enshrouded or Valheim, which finally saw its 1.0 release after years in early access. So, whenever something comes out that offers something a little different for PS5 gamers looking for an open-world co-op experience, it catches our attention. Especially so if that game features local co-op as an option, which is exactly the case with the new game coming to PS5 on November 5.
A new co-op open world survival game with multiplayer for up to 10 different users is coming to PlayStation 5 and other platforms in 2027.
On Thursday, November 5, PS5 gamers can look forward to playing a new open-world co-op experience in the form of Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School . The original Escape Academy was a fun puzzle game, and so chances are Escape Academy 2 will be a solid time as well. The new game claims that it is the "first open world escape room game," and it can be played entirely in co-op with a friend. Escape Academy 2 co-op supports both online and split-screen, so gamers can play co-op however they'd like. Too many co-op games nowadays completely skip having any kind of local co-op option, so it's greatly appreciated that Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School has split-screen .
