Boruto Unveils Earth's New Strongest Ninja After Naruto's Fall

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex awaits the release of Chapter 38, scheduled for October 20, 2026. With each passing chapter, the fate of planet Earth looks more grim. Currently, the biggest threats on the planet are Shinju, Jura, and Hidari, with Code lurking about as well. Previously, Naruto Uzumaki, the Seventh Hokage of Konoha, stood as the protector of the planet as its strongest shinobi. Now it's been 3 years since his absence, and Earth needs a new protector.

Boruto Uzumaki, Naruto's son, rises as the new strongest on planet Earth, who is willing to put his life on the line to defend everyone. He is going to play a significant role in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 38 and the subsequent chapters that follow in the post-Mamushi arc as well.

The strongest in the world of Boruto have undergone significant change over the years. At the end of the Fourth Great Ninja War, Naruto Uzumaki was the strongest shinobi left standing, with Sasuke Uchiha as his only equal. However, in the Boruto era, things changed drastically with the introduction of many powerful Otsutsuki, such as Momoshiki and, later down the line, Isshiki. What's worse, this new era of Boruto saw the downfall of the two strongest, as a new era was being ushered in. Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha were both powerful, but they ended up losing their abilities in this new era, which paved the way for the next generation to take the initiative themselves.
