Boruto Revives The 2 Strongest Ninja Clans In History

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is rapidly changing the scene in regard to the ninja villages and, with that, ninja clans as well. The vast majority of the series has been focused on the Otsutsuki Clan, but that doesn't mean the other clans that we know from the Naruto series have not been growing.

In the world of Naruto, the ninja world was dominated by many shinobi clans, and out of them, quite a few went extinct. In the Boruto era, a lot of these extinct clans are being revived, including two of the very strongest, those being the Uchiha and the Uzumaki. Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is especially expanding the Uzumaki Clan and, at the same time, adding multiple new members to clans like the Uchiha as well.

The Uzumaki clan was a legendary clan that existed long ago in the Naruto world and had its own country in Uzushiogakure, also known as the Land of Whirlpools. The Uzumaki clan reigned supreme, but due to apprehension from neighboring countries, this village was eventually destroyed.

“My country no longer exists. Our Fuinjutsu were feared during the war, and eventually, our village was attacked and destroyed. The survivors apparently all scattered to various lands and went into hiding.” — Kushina Uzumaki explains the destruction of the Uzumaki Clan, Naruto Chapter #500

In the current world of Naruto and Boruto , the Uzumaki clan exists, primarily within Konoha. Right now, it is officially recognized as a separate clan of the village, unlike before.
