Black Clover Comeback Officially Debuts Yuno's New Magic

The story of Black Clover mainly revolves around two characters, those being Asta, the protagonist, and Yuno, the deuteragonist and Asta's long-time rival. Fans had parted ways with these two characters for 5 years in the anime, but both Yuno and Asta are now back with the official release of Black Clover Season 2 on October 3, 2026.

With the premiere of this new season and the expansion of the exciting new Spade Kingdom Raid arc, we have finally gotten new sneak peeks of what's to come in this new installment. Via the many new teases, Studio Pierrot has given us an official look at Yuno's new magic powers. In a new opening, Yuno is seen using Star Magic, a new magic type he is set to unlock in Black Clover Season 2 as the Spade Kingdom Raid arc rages on.

Black Clover ended its weekly anime run on March 30, 2021, but after 5 excruciatingly long years, it finally made an official comeback, starting with its first episode of the second season, which was released on October 3, 2026. Asta is surely going to be a highlight of this new season, but the true MVP of that we're all excitedly waiting to see flourish here is actually none other than Yuno.

Yuno is the deuteragonist of Black Clover, and since the very first episode, he has held tremendous importance to the overarching narrative. After years of waiting, Black Clover Season 2 will finally introduce us to his true magic powers.
