Ramjet, Cornering, and Afterburner are your three most important stats for the Podracer. I'd invest more in Ramjet than the other two stats, because that's your main method of speed. Here's why:

If you have points left to take, 1 or 2 in Energy is also a good idea, as this will allow you to increase your Max Energy so you can use Surge more often, as you can only use it three times by default. I try to use 1 Surge every lap.

I completely ignore Resilience, as I intend to go too fast for an opponent to collide with me and cause System Malfunctions.
