Best Abilities in Star Wars Galactic Racer

Star Wars: Galactic Racer has 45 Abilities, but only some of them are worth acquiring through Credits and Ability Packs. While the best Ability is the Corrosive Vent, we'll explain why that's the case below, along with a tier list of the best versions for each Ability so you know which ones you should aim toward and which ones you should actively avoid.

We've ranked every Racer Style in Star Wars: Galactic Racer for Multiplayer and Campaign, so you know which ones will help you win!

Since there are 45 Abilities in total, we'll specifically talk about the best Abilities, which include core Abilities and their upgrades, and then rank them in the tier list below from best to worst.

When used while Redlining, Ramjet will reset to allow instant reuse with reduced heat from the Cooled condition.

Used at the start of a race to instantly overtake anyone, as you'll get a Surging boost which increases in speed for every opponent you overtake to leave them all in the dust.

Perfect to use at the start of a race when hostile opponents attempt to ram into you, as you can trade your defensive shield for Surging, which is extra speed!

Blast nearby opponents away, propelling you forward with increased power and applying System Malfunction to affected opponents.

Great for the chaotic middle placements, or if someone's behind you while you're first. You can gain a speed boost for anyone hit by the Shockwave, and those hit have System Malfunction to weaken them.
