The Apple Watch Ultra 4 just got its first big price cut since launch, and it’s a strong one. On Amazon, you can grab it for $699.99 instead of its $799 RRP, which is a 12% discount and a savings of $99.

That’s also the best deal we’ve seen this year, since it drops below the previous year-to-date low of $774. For a current Apple flagship smartwatch, that makes this a deal worth checking out while the price is still live.

The Apple Watch Ultra 4 is built for people who want a tougher watch with more than the basics. It has a 49mm titanium case and comes with GPS + Cellular built in, so you can stay connected without needing your phone right next to you. Apple positions it for endurance sports, outdoor use, and all-day connectivity, and the feature set lines up with that.

Battery life is a big part of the package. Apple says you can get up to 50 hours in typical use, up to 84 hours in Low Power Mode, and up to 45 hours of Max Extended Workout tracking. It also supports fast charging, with around 15 minutes of charging delivering up to 18 hours of use.

On the fitness and safety side, it offers upgraded heart-rate sensing, frequent HRV tracking for stress and recovery insights, advanced workout features, dual-frequency GPS, satellite-based safety and messaging features, 100m water resistance, and support for recreational scuba diving to 40m.
