Star Wars: Galactic Racer features three distinct currencies. Tuning Points will allow you to permanently upgrade your vehicles in Campaign, Kit Points will allow you to purchase vehicle customization options for Campaign and Multiplayer, and Credits will allow you to upgrade your vehicle with new parts, abilities, and stats for the specific tour they've been earned in. We'll explain each of them below!
There are no microtransactions in Star Wars: Galactic Racer. All the currencies mentioned below can be earned through gameplay.
We've ranked every Racer Style in Star Wars: Galactic Racer for Multiplayer and Campaign, so you know which ones will help you win!
Used to purchase permanent vehicle upgrades exclusive to the Campaign for each tour (maximum of 15 upgrades per vehicle).
x4 Tuning Points for top 3 placement in Eliminators in the Campaign.
x1 Tuning Point for top 3 placement in Races in the Campaign.
Used at Hibi's Shop to purchase Upgrade Packs, Parts, and Ability Packs.
These upgrades reset at the end of each Tour (Campaign & Multiplayer).
These act as your lives, and when they are lost, you lose the Tour and must start your current Act again.
Tuning Points are not available in Multiplayer or Arcade, so if you wish to permanently upgrade your Campaign vehicle, you must play Campaign or Scenarios.
To unlock Scenarios, you need to unlock Racer Styles in Campaign - click here to find them all.
