When you make your way to Kakariko Village, you'll find a woman in distress, as her cucco birds have escaped! Luckily for her, Link is a hero in need of a task, which is why you'll need to locate and recover the 7 missing cucco. If you're struggling to find them all, then consult the guide below. After leaving the Kokiro Forest, it's time to head to Hyrule Castle and meet Princess Zelda. Here's what you need to do.

The First Cucco can be found opposite the Cucco Lady, so look to the building site with the wooden boards and bricks. The Cucco will be sitting right there.

You can pick up Cucco birds with A, then throw them into their pen with ZR.

In the village center, you will find another Cucco pecking at the floor, so stick to the west side of the village and you should find it in no time at all.

At the south part of the village, you will find a large pile of bricks, and the Cucco is inconveniently on top of it. You can knock the Cucco down with the Slingshot, then you can carry it safely back to the pen.

Head northwest of the village to the building closest to the town center, and you will find a wooden box that's mysteriously shaking. You can roll into the box to smash it, which reveals a hidden Cucco.
