Aion 2 Sapphire Farming Guide

Sapphires in Aion 2 are valuable crafting materials used in recipes for professions like Handicrafting and Alchemy. However, finding these gemstones requires knowing where Sapphire nodes spawn and how to gather them efficiently.

This guide covers how to get Sapphire in Aion 2, including the best farming locations for Elyos and Asmodians and how to collect Sapphire Gemstones using Essence Extraction.

To upgrade Essence Extraction to Professional level in Aion 2, players need to find a Splendent Ruby. Here’s how to get one.

Depending on which faction you are currently playing (Elyos or Asmodians), you will have to visit certain locations to be able to find and gather Sapphire Gems using Essence Extraction. Each node of Sapphire you find has three charges, so that's three attempts to extract materials from it. Now, let's divide the locations to find Sapphire per faction:

Keep in mind that extracting Sapphire successfully requires at least Novice Level 40. Lower than that will result in low collection rates due to the failure of the extraction minigame.

Keep in mind that if you want to collect higher-grade Gemstones (Epic, Legendary) you will need the Appraisal Boost effect of the specialization Skill. Go to the Essence Extraction skill tree (Alt + F) and look for the Gems section. Invest Specialization Skillpoints in that branch and make sure to save the most for the Appraisal skill (the third from the left).

This will ensure you can collect higher-quality gemstones at a higher rate than you normally do.
