We're almost done with the Magic: The Gathering Star Trek Commander precon reveals, and up next is the Mardu Klingon Fury deck. As expected, this looks like the most aggressive deck of the four precons by a long shot, but that doesn't mean the strategy lacks nuance.
We've already seen a minor Klingon presence in the Federation Fleet deck, but now they have a deck entirely to themselves, and it's more than capable of causing some disruption if you find yourself up against some of the best Commander precons of 2026 so far.

Card draw and +1/+1 counters drive the strategy in this Star Trek MTG Commander precon, where you lead the Federation into battle.
The face Commander for this deck is Worf, Defiant Commander, a five-mana 3/4 who creates a 2/1 red Klingon Warrior token with Haste whenever he enters.
He also has Battlefront, which says that whenever you attack, exile the top X cards of your library, where X is the number of opponents you attacked this turn. Until the end of your next turn, you may play those cards. It's not an overly strong card, in truth. If it let you free-cast those exiled spells, then maybe we're on to something, but for now you'll need to track which cards you exiled on which turn and try to make the most of having extra cards you can play for a limited time.
