Not too long ago, we put together a wishlist of seven Magic: The Gathering crossovers we'd love to see in Universes Beyond (whether that's in 2027 or in the next few years). Well, I've been thinking about it again, and, frankly, there are still far too many great possibilities out there to stop at seven.
With Magic's Universes Beyond lineup continuing to expand, I've decided to throw six more potential crossovers into the ring. Some are obvious, some are perhaps a little more out there, but all of them feel like they'd fit surprisingly well into Magic's increasingly expansive multiverse.
As we covered in that original wishlist, we know Magic has three more Universes Beyond sets lined up for 2027, arriving in April, August, and November.
Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks has also suggested that next year's crossovers will be "a bit more fantasy-adjacent", following feedback from fans on some of the more recent collaborations.
That still leaves a huge amount of room for speculation, and more than enough fantasy worlds we'd love to see collide with Magic. So, here's our sequel: six more Universes Beyond crossovers we'd love to see.
Starting things off, The Elder Scrolls. While we are still painstakingly awaiting The Elder Scrolls VI, an eventual crossover with Magic: The Gathering wouldn't be beyond the realms of imagination, especially if we're talking epic fantasy.
Bethesda has already partnered with Magic as part of the Universes Beyond: Fallout set, so extending that partnership to Bethesda's other gaming titan...
