6 Flawed Anime Adaptations That Deserve To Be Reboot

Whenever an anime adaptation is announced, the studio always tries its best to ensure that everything goes smoothly and that the product is top-notch. But sometimes, despite their best efforts, the anime adaptation ends up being less than satisfactory.

Plenty of anime series released in 2025 were worth viewers' time, but these select few stood out for all of the wrong reasons.

When that happens, most fans accept that they will never see their favorite series get the quality it deserves. However, given the current condition of the anime industry, it would actually be unwise to rule out reboots altogether. With that in mind, here are some flawed anime that deserve better treatment.

One Punch Man is one of the most interesting and exciting superhero stories in recent years, which is why the manga is so highly acclaimed by fans and critics alike. The first season of the anime was truly phenomenal, and it was responsible for bringing the series to mainstream audiences.

Unfortunately, the subsequent seasons have been extremely underwhelming. The difference is that the first season was produced by Madhouse, while the subsequent ones have been made by JC Staff. As a result, the subsequent seasons have been below par. Even the third season was extremely underwhelming and disappointing. So far, there has been no news regarding a studio change or the anime being rebooted.

When the anime adaptation of The Promised Neverland was announced, fans were eager to see their favorite characters in action once again.
