Keeping up with the latest and greatest apps and games is a difficult task, but I’m here to help. Each month, I detail a list of the best new Android apps and games, and this month’s edition includes a new Android launcher, a brilliant daily notes app, and more.

Let’s jump right in. Here are the best new Android apps and games you should try in November 2026. If you missed it, catch the October edition here.

Google institutes strict rules regarding which apps can run on Android Auto, but these restrictions can be skirted using an open-source app co-coded with AI. Called Android Auto Maker, this app essentially repackages and re-signs other apps allowing them to run on Android Auto head units while parked. In theory, this process makes almost any Android app compatible with your car under safe circumstances.

Some possible use cases include running navigation apps that aren’t yet supported, or games that Google hasn’t yet certified for use in the car.

There are a few notable caveats, though. You cannot run two instances of the same app on your phone. If you’re patching an existing app, you’ll need to uninstall it, removing all of your existing data. This could prove a problem for those with games they enjoy playing on their phones. Some apps will also flat-out fail due to various Android safety layers.

While Android Auto Maker might not have much mileage for general drivers, it’s a nifty proof of concept that most apps could run on the platform if Google allows it.
