2 of my favorite studios are teaming up for their first-ever showcase this week, and have a Steam sale going right now

Two of my favorite game studios getting together for a tag-team showcase in a classic PC gaming genre that doesn't get the love it deserves? You better believe I'm going to have a word or two to say about that—so allow me to draw your attention to the upcoming Point-and-Click Showcase being co-hosted by Amanita Design and Rusty Lake.

The Point-and-Click Showcase will feature world premieres, release date announcements, and new demos for more than 35 adventure games of all types, including ghost stories, murder mysteries, cozy puzzle games, and whatever's going on here:

The Point-and-Click Showcase takes place on November 4, but ahead of that—as in, right now—you can take advantage of the Point-and-Click Showcase Steam Sale. Running until November 9, the sale features discounts on dozens of adventure games across a range of styles, from the classic Excavation of Hob's Barrow to the award-winning Heaven's Vault, the bizarre Dropsy, the horror of Stories Untold, and the time-wasting of The Longing.

Primordia is a steal for $3, and yes, I am once again going to foist The Night of the Rabbit upon you, because it's brilliant and you can get it right now for just $2.49. You can pick up Rusty Lake's latest, Servant of the Lake, for $5.35—33% off—and while Amanita's most recent release, Phonopolis, is not on sale, Chuchel is, and I will never not recommend that.

So, long story short, it's a good time to be an adventure gamer and if you haven't sampled the delights already, this is the perfect opportunity to change that.
