Pune-based robotics startup Peppermint Robotics has raised Rs 100 crore (around $10.5 million) in a Pre-Series B funding round led by pi Ventures and Crane Venture Partners. The round also saw participation from Asiana Fund.
The investment comprises a combination of primary capital and secondary share transactions.
The fresh capital will be used to expand manufacturing capacity, develop next-generation robotics solutions and strengthen the company's global operations. Peppermint also plans to establish an assembly line in North America in the coming months.
Founded in 2019, Peppermint Robotics develops autonomous robots for commercial floor cleaning and material transportation. The company has expanded its operations to nine countries, with the US emerging as its largest market.
Peppermint's robots are deployed across factories, hospitals, airports, malls, warehouses, hotels and universities. The company also serves pharmaceutical cleanrooms, where its robots have passed qualification testing in an EU GMP Grade cleanroom.
The startup develops its robotics hardware, software and perception systems in-house. Its robots use computer vision and LiDAR to map environments, plan cleaning routes and avoid obstacles. The company also offers offline robots for security-sensitive environments.
Peppermint plans to use the primary capital across five areas, including research and engineering, manufacturing expansion, North American operations, global market expansion and hiring senior leadership and engineering talent.
The company will also expand its portfolio of autonomous floor-cleaning and material-handling robots, while advancing its next-generation cleanroom robotics line.
Peppermint previously raised Rs 34 crore (around $4 million) in a Series A round in April 2025. According to the company, its revenue grew nearly sixfold between FY24 and FY26, after doubling last year.
