L Catterton, a consumer-focused investment firm that manages about $40 billion in equity capital, has made a strategic investment in Glance, the AI-powered personal shopping platform backed by Naveen Tewari's InMobi.
The companies did not disclose the size of the investment, the stake acquired or the valuation.
L Catterton said it will bring its consumer and category expertise, operating capabilities and global network to support Glance's expansion, with a particular focus on the US.
“Agentic commerce is fundamentally changing how consumers discover and shop for products, creating significant opportunities for brands that can make the journey more personal, intuitive, and engaging,” said Scott Dahnke, global CEO of L Catterton.
Tewari, founder and CEO of InMobi and Glance, said the backing validates the shopping model the company has built and its belief that “the future of commerce will move beyond search toward agentic shopping.”
“L Catterton is one of the most respected investment firms in the consumer space, with an extraordinary track record of identifying and building category-defining brands,” he said.
Founded in 1989, L Catterton has made more than 300 investments in consumer businesses. It invests across private equity, credit and real estate, and its funds can put in between $5 million and $5 billion across the capital structure. It has more than 200 investment and operating professionals in 18 offices.
In India, its consumer bets include a strategic partnership with snack maker Haldiram's announced in December 2025, a $42 million round in dry fruit snacks brand Farmley that it led in May 2025, and a minority stake in Drools Pet Food that it acquired in 2023.
