Indian luxury watch brand Rotoris raises Rs 70 crore, plans to open Rotoris House in Mumbai and New York

Gurugram-based luxury watch brand Rotoris has raised Rs 70 crore in a Series A funding round led by Blume Ventures, less than a year after its $3 million seed round.

9Unicorns and Centricity also took part in the round. They were joined by family offices and individual investors, including Diwakar Goel, Global Head of Data at BlackRock, Atul Singh, former Group President for Asia Pacific at Coca-Cola, and Adhiraj Burman of the Dabur family.

Nikhil Kamath-backed Rotoris said it will use the money for research and development, to expand production and to grow its physical presence in India and overseas.

Founded in 2025, Rotoris was established by Aakash Anand, Prerna Gupta, Anant Narula, Kunal Kapania and Harman Wadhwa, whom the startup describes as India's only formally trained watchmaker from Switzerland. Gupta leads the startup, overseeing brand development and customer experience.

The brand does not sell its watches openly. Buyers sign up on its Registry, wait for an allocation and then complete a private purchase. Each watch is individually numbered.

Rotoris launched in February 2026 with five collections: Auriqua, Monarch, Astonia, Arvion and Manifesta. The company said its first drop of 2,100 numbered watches sold out within days.

According to the startup, nearly 100,000 people have since registered for access. About 40% of that demand comes from outside India, including the US, Dubai and Australia.

When the brand opened an appointment-only salon in Delhi, its watches were priced broadly between Rs 25,000 and Rs 50,000, according to Robb Report India.
