Lumio, the consumer tech brand from Circuit House Technologies, has raised $12 million in a Series A round of funding led by Blume Ventures, with participation from existing investors Stellaris Venture Partners and 3one4 Capital.
Circuit House Technologies said it will use the capital for growing the Lumio brand, for R&D, and hiring of talent.
Launched in 2025, Lumio's range of products include smart TV, projectors, and speakers.
"In about a year and a half, we have shown we can build products Indian households want, across more than one category. This round lets us invest in the two things that compound: a brand people trust in their living room, and R&D that keeps bringing new categories and devices into the home," said Kailash Sankaranarayanan, Co-founder and COO, Circuit House Technologies.
A statement from the company said, it has crossed Rs 100 crore in gross merchandise value (GMV) within 13 months of commercial sales. Lumio now serves more than 35,000 households across 5,000+ pin codes.
Following this funding, Lumio plans to expand into newer categories and devices for the home segment while also going deeper into its existing categories. It also plans to have an offline retail presence.
Also, Lumio plans to increase its headcount which will enable it to provide wider after sales coverage.
“India's 30-35 million affluent households are reimagining their living rooms, and no longer default to legacy brands. Raghu and Kailash have leveraged their deep experience in home entertainment and customer insights to create a compelling home entertainment brand in Lumio, with nearly half of Lumio's customers upgrading from legacy brands,” said Sajith Pai, Partner at Blume Ventures.
