US-based healthtech startup Confido Health has announced a $12.5 million extension of its Series A funding round led by venture capital firm Z47, taking the total raised in the round to $22.5 million.
Existing investors Together Fund and Blume Ventures also participated in the round, while healthcare private equity veteran Justin Saks joined the startup as an investor and board adviser.
The latest investment follows a $10 million Series A round led by Blume Ventures in September 2025 and a $3 million seed round led by Together Fund in December 2024.
Confido Health plans to use the capital to expand its AI platform, CareOS, across multi-location healthcare organisations and develop additional AI agents for different administrative workflows and medical specialties.
Founded in 2022 by Chetan Reddy and Vichar Shroff, New York-based Confido Health develops AI agents designed to automate routine administrative tasks for healthcare providers.
Its technology handles patient calls, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, prescription refills, referral management, care coordination and payment follow-ups.
The startup initially focused on voice AI to automate patient calls but has since expanded into a broader platform designed to carry out administrative tasks across existing healthcare systems.
Its CareOS platform integrates with more than 50 systems, including electronic health records, practice management software, telephone systems, billing platforms and fax systems, without requiring healthcare providers to replace their existing technology infrastructure.
The platform uses patient information, referral details and insurance requirements collected during the intake process to coordinate subsequent activities, including patient outreach and scheduling.
According to the startup, a single patient interaction can initiate several connected workflows, such as referral management, appointment booking, prescription refills and payment processing.
