Zippy, a technology-driven lender and loan servicer dedicated solely to manufactured housing finance, has raised $20m in a Series C round from alternative investment firm Saluda Grade.
Saluda Grade was the only investor in the round and made the commitment through its growth equity strategy. Beyond the capital, the firm will support Zippy on credit, capital markets, balance sheet management and product development.
Zippy plans to use the backing for its next stage of expansion. It currently operates in 27 states and intends to grow its national presence beyond them. It also plans to launch new loan products through its community, retail and wholesale distribution channels, and to keep building its technology and balance sheet capacity.
Zippy has already secured more than $600m in capital commitments during 2026. The company describes the deal as a turning point in its move towards becoming a national, full-service manufactured housing lending platform. Since launch, Zippy has deliberately invested in core foundations covering regulation, legal, risk management and servicing. This includes its own loan origination platform, which supports digital applications, tools for partners, underwriting and decisioning, standardised loan paperwork and data infrastructure.
Zippy was established in 2021. It partners with manufactured housing communities, retailers and dealers, and wholesale partners to help families reach affordable homeownership. It has used its technology, servicing capabilities and institutional capital relationships to modernise this part of the housing finance market.
Zippy co-founder and CEO Ben Halliday said, “Manufactured housing is already one of the most compelling affordable homeownership solutions in America, but it needs a financing system that is just as modern and efficient as the homes themselves.
