The integration connects TerraPay Verify with Liink’s Confirm application, allowing banks and nonbank financial institutions on the network, as well as TerraPay Verify clients, to validate recipient information across international markets, TerraPay said in a Thursday (Oct. 22) press release.
The service is designed to help payment providers identify incorrect recipient details before funds are transferred, reducing failed transactions, settlement delays and potential fraud. A 2026 study by LexisNexis Risk Solutions cited in the announcement estimates that incorrect beneficiary information accounts for 10% to 15% of failed international payments, adding operational costs for financial institutions.

The partnership also expands the distribution of TerraPay Verify through J.P. Morgan’s Liink network, which connects financial institutions to exchange information intended to support payment processing. Kinexys is J.P. Morgan’s blockchain-focused business unit.
Paul Atkinson, head of Kinexys Liink Product, said the integration is intended to give financial institutions greater control over cross-border transactions and help reduce payment fraud. David Backshall, TerraPay’s vice president of payment partnerships, said the arrangement will extend recipient verification capabilities to more institutions globally.
The announcement comes as TerraPay builds partnerships across different parts of the global payments ecosystem.
