Swiss InsurTech LTY targets national growth with Akiden

Swiss insurance broker and technology provider LTY SA has secured growth equity from Akiden Ventures SA to expand its independent broking model and digital platform across French-speaking and German-speaking Switzerland.

Based in Sion, LTY will use the investment to scale its independent broking model and proprietary digital platform nationally. The size of the investment and the stake acquired by Akiden were not disclosed.

The deal leaves LTY founder Betim Ramosaj as the company’s reference shareholder, with responsibility for continuing to run the business. Akiden will take a minority stake, while LTY says its expansion will not affect its independence or existing client relationships.

Founded in 2013, LTY combines traditional insurance broking with digital technology designed to operate independently of individual insurers’ systems. Its platform gives customers access to dedicated digital spaces without tying them to a single insurance provider.

The company has a team of 15 people serving more than 10,000 individual clients and over 700 businesses. Acquisitions have supported its growth, including the client portfolios of four brokers: RL Libery, Assurtag, PartenaGroup and SPS.

In 2025, LTY launched a version of its platform for corporate customers. The company is also developing an in-house artificial intelligence module with research institute Idiap, supported by Fondation The Ark. The project aims to help clients manage risks proactively.

Akiden Ventures was founded in 2016 by Steve Savioz and provides both capital and operational support to the management teams of its portfolio companies.

Akiden Ventures founder Steve Savioz said, “LTY has built a profitable model and a platform that works.
