Slash Financial, a San Francisco-based banking platform for businesses, has expanded into payment processing, allowing approved merchants to accept debit and credit card payments through its platform.
The launch adds card acceptance to Slash’s existing banking and financial management tools, bringing invoicing, payments and transaction tracking into the same account.
Merchants can access the service through Slash Invoicing, where they can enable card payments on invoices, or use a Software Development Kit (SDK) to build their own web checkout and payment flows.
Slash said businesses often rely on separate providers for banking, cards, invoicing, payment processing and accounting. The company believes this fragmented setup can leave business owners without a complete view of their financial activity.
Under the new offering, merchants can track payments from the initial customer transaction through to funds reaching their Slash account. Payments made through invoices and the SDK are displayed in a single dashboard, alongside associated fees and receivables. The platform also allows merchants to issue partial refunds and monitor how processed funds move into their business accounts and spending activity.
Whop provides the infrastructure behind the payment service, including merchant onboarding, payment execution and settlement. Slash is responsible for the merchant-facing experience, including its payments dashboard, refunds and payouts.
The service is initially available to businesses operating in e-commerce, telehealth and software, as well as service agencies working across areas such as marketing, advertising and consulting. Slash was founded by CEO Victor Cardenas and CTO Kevin Bai. Its platform combines FDIC-insured business checking, corporate cards with uncapped cashback, expense management, treasury management, global payments and stablecoin support.
