During an interview with Bloomberg TV, Storonsky said, per the report: “That was always the target, given the deep liquidity of the U.S. market.”
Storonsky had previously said that he wants to take Revolut public, that it wouldn’t happen until at least 2028 and that the company would do so through a dual listing in the U.S. and the United Kingdom, according to the report.
French newspaper Les Echos reported Sept. 17 that Storonsky said during an interview that Revolut was considering a dual London and New York stock market listing.

Storonsky said that Revolut wanted to list in the U.S. as the market there provides more liquidity and a bigger investment pool.
“So we have the choice between selling in a small market with few buyers, or in a gigantic market with a huge number of buyers who will compete fiercely for our shares,” Storonsky said in the Les Echos report. “Therefore, yes, we prefer the United States.”
Still, Storonsky added the Revolut is eyeing a dual listing on the London Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq.
Storonsky told Bloomberg in April that the Revolut wants to go public , but that an IPO for the digital bank might not happen until at least 2028.
