PowerUp Money bets $10m on AI-led wealth advice in India

Indian WealthTech platform PowerUp Money, an AI-led investment advisory business, has secured $10m in early-stage funding at a $73m valuation as it moves to monetise India’s surge in retail investing.

According to DealRoom, Flourish Ventures led the round. Existing backers also returned, including Peak XV Partners, Accel, Blume Ventures, Kae Capital, 8i Ventures and DeVC.

The new capital will help the company grow its AI-led wealth management products and extend personalised investment guidance to a wider pool of investors, according to founder and CEO Prateek Jindal, speaking to The Economic Times. PowerUp is also moving past its roots in mutual fund recommendations, with plans to offer managed wealth services and more comprehensive financial planning.

The raise comes only months after PowerUp closed a $12m Series A, which Peak XV led in December 2025. By deal size, the latest round sits in the upper quartile of comparable transactions.

Jindal launched PowerUp in 2024, having earlier co-founded Uni Cards. The platform now serves more than 1.5 million customers, who use it to monitor portfolios collectively valued at over ₹2.5 lakh crore.

The funding arrives against a backdrop of rising retail participation in Indian markets. Monthly systematic investment plan (SIP) inflows into mutual funds hit an all-time high of ₹32,490 crore in September 2026, while the number of SIP accounts grew by roughly 12% compared with a year earlier.

PowerUp’s main challenge will be persuading users of its free tracking tools to pay for advisory services and hand over assets to manage.
