Pine Labs, Stripe to Unify Online and In-Store Payments in Singapore

Pine Labs and Stripe have announced a unified commerce solution for retailers in Singapore.

From November 2026, eligible merchants will be able to use Stripe for both online payments and in-store card payments powered by Pine Labs’ payment terminals.

The offering combines Stripe’s online payments capabilities with Pine Labs’ in-store payments and merchant engagement tools.

The companies plan to extend it to other Southeast Asian markets in 2027, with Singapore serving as the launch market.

Merchants will see online and in-store transactions in one consolidated view, which the companies say will reduce reconciliation work and operating overheads.

Beyond payment acceptance, merchants will gain access to Pine Labs’ commerce tools.

These include multi-issuer instalment plans, pay-by-points options, merchant-funded promotions and digital marketing tools for instant discounts and cross-border campaigns.

In stores, merchants can accept credit cards, QR code payments and contactless payments across several types of Pine Labs terminals.

According to the companies, many enterprise retailers use one vendor for their website, another for physical stores and further providers for instalment financing and analytics. That arrangement can lead to operational complexity, delayed reporting and higher costs.

The joint offering consolidates these capabilities, giving retailers greater control and real-time visibility across their businesses.

“Retailers no longer think of e-commerce and physical stores as separate channels. They expect a connected view of payments, customer engagement and business performance across every touchpoint.
