Once fully deployed, Penske Logistics can expect the agents to improve manual productivity by over 60%.
“Pallet is enabling us to move from reactive execution to more proactive, intelligent operations,” said Andy Moses, Senior Vice President Solutions, Penske Logistics. “Freight payment has always required a balance between accuracy, speed and scale. Pallet’s AI agents give us the ability to review a much larger volume of transactions with greater consistency. It also helps us identify discrepancies faster while allowing our teams to focus on higher-value exception management and customer support.”
Pallet’s AI agents will operate within Penske’s existing systems and carrier portals, using invoices, bills of lading, and rate tables to validate freight charges, identify discrepancies and resolve invoices. Exceptions requiring additional context or judgment will be escalated to Penske associates.
“The final destination for AI in supply chain isn’t back-office automation,” said Sushanth Raman, Founder and CEO of Pallet. “It’s using intelligence to make the expensive physical assets that power the economy to be more productive. Freight payment is an important place to start because it gives AI access to the systems, documents, and decisions that underpin the broader supply chain.”
Penske Logistics is a Penske Transportation Solutions company headquartered in Reading, Pennsylvania.
