London-based payments FinTech Navro has secured a Money Transmitter Licence (MTL) from the Texas Department of Banking, extending its regulated presence into one of the largest state economies in the US.
The authorisation allows Navro to handle payments and facilitate remittances across Texas, giving corporate clients a compliant route into the state. This includes businesses with complex international payroll and fund disbursement requirements.
The Texas licence adds to the company’s existing state-level authorisations, including those in Delaware, Washington DC and Florida, as it continues to expand its North American operations.
Navro’s platform is designed to address the cost and slow settlement times companies can face when moving money into and out of the US through SWIFT. It connects businesses to a curated network of payment providers through a single platform, API and contract, selecting payment and banking infrastructure for each transaction.
The company has also expanded its presence in specialist verticals such as payroll and pensions during 2026. Recent client wins include Multiplier, which uses Navro’s global payments infrastructure across more than 160 countries, and Strada, which has partnered with the company to strengthen its end-to-end global payroll offering through integrated payments.
Navro provides multinational corporations with a single API to route payments across international banking and payment networks, while managing regulatory requirements across jurisdictions. Its services support payroll and pension providers, as well as Employer of Record platforms.
The company currently manages workforce payouts for more than 200 large corporations and handles international payments for 1,700 pension schemes. It also operates Navro Statutory & Tax, a service that combines mandatory tax deductions, statutory payments and regulatory reporting with payroll payouts across 95 countries.
