Trumid Launches List Optimizer, Advancing Data-Driven Protocol Selection in Credit Trading

Trumid, a financial technology company and leading fixed income electronic trading platform, announced the launch of Trumid List Optimizer™, a decision engine designed to analyze bond lists and suggest how to allocate individual bonds between Trumid’s Portfolio Trading (PT) and Request for Quote (RFQ) protocols to optimize expected total net proceeds.

List Optimizer introduces a new layer of Trumid Intelligence™, bringing the platform’s pricing, analytics, and optimization capabilities together to help traders make more informed execution decisions. Powered by the Trumid PT Pricer™ and RFQ Pricer pre-trade analytics tools, List Optimizer evaluates expected execution outcomes to help users determine the optimal protocol allocation for each list.

Paris Pender, Head of Portfolio & Macro Credit Trading at Trumid, said:

“Clients asked for a better way to determine when to use Portfolio Trading, RFQ, or a combination of both within a list, and we moved quickly to deliver it. List Optimizer brings our pricing intelligence together in a practical way, giving traders another tool to assist them in making more informed execution decisions and optimize expected outcomes.

With the recent introduction of Trumid Smart Voice™, Smart Swap™, and Full Self Trading (FST™), we’ve seen how solving real workflow challenges drives client adoption. List Optimizer reflects that same focus and the pace at which we’re continuing to bring new capabilities to clients.”
