“Steve is one of the most talented healthcare technology leaders in the country. He spent his career on the provider side, building the platforms behind purchasing decisions for health systems nationally. Steve now brings that scale and precision to the $1.5 trillion employer-sponsored healthcare and insurance market,” said Brian Freeman, CEO of Mployer. “His pace and intellect, paired with what AI makes possible now, will raise what our partners are able to do for the employers and employees they serve.”
Historically, limited data and resources have existed to support brokers, consultants and employers in making benefits decisions, which is one of the drivers of increased medical spend annually. Mployer works with leading insurance advisors, carriers, PBMs, and other industry stakeholders to build the industry’s largest member-contributed benefits data asset, giving its members a competitive advantage with analytics and benchmarks to bring down the cost of benefits and insurance for the employers they serve.
