Mano Bank taps AMLYZE as growth strains its risk controls

Mano Bank has struck a deal with AMLYZE to deploy a single platform covering risk assessment, transaction monitoring, screening and investigation management as the bank expands.

Under the agreement, AMLYZE will supply technology that unites several compliance functions in one place. These include evaluating customer risk, monitoring transactions, screening both customers and payments, and handling the investigations that arise from those checks.

The bank describes the move as the latest phase of its technology development, designed to keep operations dependable and efficient while its business scales.

The platform will allow Mano Bank to manage and analyse its anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (AML/CFT) data from a central point. It will also automate certain repetitive tasks and help structure the workload of the bank’s specialists.

By consolidating this data into one environment, the bank expects to evaluate risk faster and reach better-supported decisions without lowering its compliance standards.

Mano Bank concentrates on serving small and medium-sized businesses, which rely on quick, straightforward and practical financial services in their daily activities. As the lender widens its product range and grows its presence abroad, pressure increases to maintain streamlined internal workflows and risk controls capable of handling rising volumes.

The bank has the distinction of having been Lithuania’s first specialised bank, having previously operated as a credit union.

For several years, the bank has steadily directed investment towards technology, automation and improved client experience. That work has spanned an upgrade of its payments infrastructure, broader digital offerings, enhanced self-service tools for customers and more efficient internal operations.
