Malaysians Earning RM2,000 a Month Can Apply for RHB Sinar Credit Card-i

Malaysians earning at least RM24,000 a year can now apply for RHB Bank’s Sinar Credit Card-i.

The Shariah-compliant credit card offers a fixed retail transaction profit rate of 14 percent per annum.

It also has no annual fees for principal and supplementary cards or compounding profit charges.

Applicants must be aged between 21 and 65, with credit limits capped at RM20,000 or twice their monthly income, whichever is lower.

The card comes with Smart Move Balance Transfer, which allows cardholders to transfer outstanding balances from eligible credit or charge cards.

Eligible purchases of RM500 or more can be converted into monthly instalments through Dial-An-Instalment, subject to a fee.

The Smart Instalment Payment Plan also offers 0 percent instalment payments on eligible purchases of at least RM500 at participating RHB merchants.

Other features include Smart Pay for bill payments and Auto Balance Conversion, which allows eligible outstanding balances to be converted into monthly payments at a lower rate.

Jeffrey Ng Eow Oo, Managing Director of Group Community Banking at RHB Bank, said,

“With the RHB Sinar Credit Card-i now available, we hope to offer customers a practical option that gives them greater flexibility in managing their finances.”

Applications can be made at RHB branches nationwide or through RHB personnel.

Customers can also register their interest on the bank’s website for a representative to contact them with further information.
