“Morrell’s promotion reflects Longbridge’s continued investment in experienced industry leadership as the company expands its product capabilities.”

In her expanded role, Morrell will help lead product development strategy across Longbridge Financial, working at the intersection of product, technology, operations, compliance, and sales to move new ideas from concept through implementation. Her promotion comes as Longbridge continues to invest in understanding the evolving financial needs of homeowners 55 and older and developing home equity products for the markets it serves.

“Homeowners 55 and older represent a large and diverse population with a wide range of financial circumstances and goals,” said Melissa Macerato, chief revenue and marketing officer and co-founder of Longbridge Financial. “Larissa’s years of experience working directly with loan officers and borrowers in the reverse mortgage industry have given her a deep understanding of what homeowners are looking for and what loan officers need to effectively serve this market. That perspective, combined with her ability to turn ideas into scalable products and solutions, makes her a natural fit for this expanded role.”

Morrell has played a key role in several of Longbridge’s recent product and strategic initiatives, including the launch and continued development of HELOC For Seniors ® and the expansion of the company’s proprietary Platinum reverse mortgage portfolio.
