The round valued Legora at $8.8 billion, according to the post. That figure is up from the $5.6 billion valuation the company achieved about seven months ago, in a March Series D round in which it raised $550 million.

Legora will use the new funding to continue its expansion in North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region and deepen its investment in Legora aOS to bring new products such as agentic in-take, horizon scanning and legal research, the post said.

The company was founded in 2023 and launched its platform in October 2024. Today, its platform is used by 140,000 legal professionals at 2,400 law firms and in-house legal teams across 80 markets, per the post.

Legora’s annual recurring revenue has reached $200 million. The company reached that figure after going from $1 million to $100 million in ARR in less than 18 months and then adding another $100 million in ARR in less than six months, according to the post.

“The opportunity in legal is enormous and we are still early,” Legora CEO and Co-Founder Max Junestrand said in the release.
