This offering is part of an expanded agreement between Klarna, which is an everyday finance network, and Mollie, which is one of Europe’s leading payment processors. The companies have been long-standing partners, according to the release.

Klarna debuted Consumer FX on Oct. 21, saying this offering lets shoppers purchase from any participating Klarna merchant anywhere in the world and pay using their own currency, with no exchange fee. Klarna also handles foreign exchange disclosure, consent and compliance.

Merchants that already offer Klarna through Mollie will get access to the new Klarna features through their existing integration, while merchants that are new to Klarna can enable the features in minutes along with the company’s Pay in full, Pay in 3 and Financing options, according to the Tuesday press release.

“Mollie’s merchants across Europe will now have the same seamless access to Klarna as if they’d integrated with us directly,” Klarna President and Chief Commercial Officer David Sykes said in the release.

Mollie Chief Product Officer Rogier Schoute said in the release that the expanded partnership will give Mollie’s merchants instant access to 26 markets through their existing integration, with no extra development or new contracts.
