Innov8tif‘s eKYC platform can now use MyDigital ID to verify customer identities, helping Malaysian businesses tackle identity fraud.
This adds national identity validation to the company’s existing document authentication and facial biometric checks during remote onboarding.
The solution aims to help businesses detect threats such as AI-generated deepfakes, synthetic identities, virtual camera injection attacks and presentation spoofing.
The EMAS eKYC platform covers all MyKad holders aged 12 and above, including those using the New Generation MyKad.
Customers can complete the process without installing the MyDigital ID mobile app.
Banks, fintechs, insurers and telecommunications providers can use the service to strengthen customer due diligence. It can also help regulated businesses meet anti-money laundering (AML) compliance requirements.
MyDigital ID checks identities against official records maintained by Malaysia’s National Registration Department.
“MyDigital ID currently serves 14.5 million users through 204 integrations, with more than 90 million logins recorded since August 2025.
This existing reach provides opportunities to further expand its use across the private sector and support a broader range of commercial applications.”
“Our integration with MyDigital ID represents an important step in strengthening Malaysia’s digital identity ecosystem by combining national identity infrastructure with advanced eKYC technology.
Through this integration, we aim to help enterprises enhance fraud prevention, streamline customer onboarding and build greater trust in digital transactions.”
