DBS and Stripe are teaming up to help Asian businesses accept payments and manage funds across international markets.
The partnership combines DBS’ pan-Asian banking network with Stripe’s global financial infrastructure.
Stripe will use DBS’ digital banking and money movement services to help merchants collect payments across borders.
The bank’s cash management services will also help Stripe manage liquidity across its corporate entities as the company expands in Asia and develops into a full-stack financial infrastructure provider.
DBS will explore using Stripe’s global platform and embedded finance services to extend its cross-border network, helping institutional clients reach a wider international customer base.
The companies also plan to explore agentic AI tools that could help DBS customers complete transactions more efficiently and securely.
AI agents can help consumers and businesses discover products and complete purchases.
“AI agents are gaining traction and businesses of all sizes are broadening their reach into new markets around the world.
This partnership enables us to continue delivering differentiated solutions for customers and reflects our shared commitment towards helping businesses in Asia build, scale and compete globally.”
“Ten years ago, Stripe launched in Singapore to support Asia’s earliest internet builders. Today, more than half of our users in the region are selling cross border.
By combining Stripe’s global financial infrastructure and product innovation with DBS’ trusted banking expertise and extensive regional network, we look forward to helping even more businesses in Asia transform into global champions.”
