BRI Wealth Management has reached close to full active usage of Aveni Assist among its advice, paraplanning and administration staff, with suitability report turnaround falling by 75% since the AI tool was introduced.
Assist now covers the journey from the initial client meeting to the finished suitability report. BRI first adopted the technology in 2025 after a trial period, before adding its report-writing functions in 2026. Transactional tasks such as pension withdrawals and ISA top-ups are now being completed far more quickly than before, freeing staff from routine paperwork while advisers and planners retain full authority over each recommendation.
With less time spent on repetitive drafting, the paraplanning team has redirected its efforts towards more demanding work. This includes building frameworks and research to underpin the firm’s retirement planning approach, devoting greater attention to portfolio management, and providing the individual touches that underpin BRI’s hands-on client service.
BRI attributes much of the smooth implementation to the groundwork laid during its trial. Because the firm controlled its own Assist templates, staff were able to test the tool on both straightforward and complicated cases, adjust its outputs to match the house style, and issue clear guidance to colleagues before rolling it out more widely. This allowed the advice, paraplanning and administration teams to take up the technology rapidly with little disruption to their work.
BRI Wealth Management operates as an independent wealth manager. Note: the press release does not include a description of Aveni beyond its Assist AI product.
Although the firm is still looking for further efficiencies, BRI has stressed that its priority is to use technology to reinforce client relationships rather than substitute for them.
