Axaipay and Incomedia Launch AxaiCart+ E-Commerce Platform

Axaipay has partnered with Italian software developer Incomedia to launch AxaiCart+, an e-commerce solution aimed at Malaysian MSMEs.

The offering combines Incomedia’s WebSite X5 Pro website builder with Axaipay’s payment gateway, allowing businesses to create online stores with integrated payment processing.

Axaipay, operated by Axai Digital Sdn Bhd, is registered with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) as a non-bank merchant acquirer.

Through AxaiCart+, merchants can accept credit and debit cards, FPX online banking, DuitNow QR, Touch ‘n Go eWallet, ShopeePay and Boost eWallet.

The integration removes the need for businesses to connect a separate payment processor to their online stores.

WebSite X5 Pro allows merchants to build mobile-responsive websites using a desktop-based drag-and-drop editor without coding knowledge.

Incomedia also says the software generates optimised code designed to improve website loading speeds and search engine visibility.

The companies position AxaiCart+ as a cost-effective alternative to subscription-based e-commerce platforms, citing the potential to reduce recurring fees.

Merchants can also host their websites independently rather than relying entirely on a hosted e-commerce platform.

“By partnering with Incomedia to create AxaiCart+, we are removing the technical friction of setting up an online store,”

Yee added that the integration would help merchants avoid compatibility issues between their website builders and payment processors.

“Through our partnership with Axaipay, AxaiCart+ combines easy professional e-commerce creation with secure, localized payments, giving Malaysian entrepreneurs and MSMEs a powerful solution to build and grow their businesses online,”
