YES-EU and CATL open a battery service center in Norway

Battery service provider YES-EU, in partnership with NING Service, CATL’s official aftermarket service brand, has built a new battery service center in Oslo. The 10,000-square-meter YES-EU NING Service Center will serve as a hub for battery lifecycle management, training and certified repairs.

YES-EU and NING have worked together since 2018. The relationship began with battery service operations in Northern Europe, and has expanded to cover battery servicing, lifecycle support and the development of service capabilities across the continent.

Through its European battery service network, YES-EU provides warranty and out-of-warranty battery repairs. The company serves fleet operators, OEMs, leasing companies and insurance providers.

A damaged or faulty battery does not always require replacement of the entire battery pack. Through diagnostics and component- and module-level repair capabilities, YES-EU identifies affected battery parts and repairs or replaces individual components when appropriate.

YES-EU’s COO, Egzon Bajrami, said: “CATL brings world-leading battery technology, deep industry expertise and a globally recognized brand. YES-EU brings local European market knowledge, service infrastructure and operational capabilities. By combining these strengths, we are building a stronger battery service ecosystem that can support customers locally throughout the lifetime of their batteries.”

YES-EU Switzerland CEO Pierre Savoy said: “More than 2,000 CATL-powered e-buses [are] operating across the continent, so YES-EU has a strong foundation to scale from.”
