UK CPO Source adds its fleet EV charging sites to the Shell Card roaming network

EV charging company Source has partnered with Shell Fleet Solutions, adding its DC fast charging hubs in the UK to the Shell Card roaming network.

The partnership enables Shell Card holders to charge at Source’s EV charging hubs, using their existing cards. Shell Card gives fleet customers access to more than 72,000 public EV charge points in the UK.

Source plans to open 300 fast charging hubs in the UK and Ireland by 2030. All the company’s hubs feature chargers with power capacities of at least 150 kW. The SourceConnect app offers real-time availability updates so drivers can check a charger’s status before arriving. Sites are powered by renewable energy and support contactless payment as standard.

Alice Aprile-Smith, Head of Partnerships and Business Development at Source, said: “Since opening our first hub a little over a year ago, we’ve added more than half a dozen roaming partners, including Shell Fleet Solutions, to give drivers and fleets more choice in how they charge.”
