After the Peralta S comes the Peralta D. It is a new 2+2 Gran Turismo coupe with a body made entirely of hand-hammered copper, designed by Fabrizio Giugiaro for GFG Style, a design studio long known for one-offs and extraordinary concepts.
The car was unveiled on October 24 at the 2026 Pastejé Automotive Invitational in Mexico. It belongs to a wave of contemporary interpretations based on the Maserati GranTurismo, here transformed into more of a collector’s object than an everyday grand tourer.
Entrepreneur and collector Carlos Peralta commissioned it as a one-off, the same client behind the Peralta S. The new project continues the same design language but goes even further in its use of copper and in personalizing the exterior and interior.
The body is made from copper, a pure metal chosen for its visual impact and malleability, and shaped entirely by hand. The beltline separates the lower section, finished entirely in copper, from the upper section in mirrored glass, treated to echo the metal’s color and create an almost monolithic effect.
The car’s name refers to the bond between Carlos Peralta and his daughters, just as the Peralta S was dedicated to his sons. The letter D also points to several design solutions conceived specifically for a female audience.
The structure is carbon fiber, with an aluminum platform, as on the Maserati donor car. The wheels feature a geometric motif inspired by the 1970s and are finished in anthracite black to make the copper bodywork stand out even more.
