A longstanding rule of thumb in electromobility has been that you either get long range or compact dimensions - you can't have both, especially not at an attractive price. After all, the battery has to fit somewhere. Kia wants to change that with its new EV2. This 4.06-meter-long compact car is available with an optional 61-kWh battery and a starting price tag of €26,600. We tested it for two weeks and were positively surprised by how the Koreans have created a genuinely attractive overall package using very simple means.
