Electrify America’s expansion continues apace—the CPO recently opened its largest EV charging station to date at the Sand Lake Corners South shopping center in Orlando, Florida. The new station features 24 DC fast chargers, each equipped with a CCS connector and capable of charging speeds up to 350 kilowatts.
The new station provides convenient access to Interstate 4, Orlando International Airport, Disney World and Universal Studios. The Sand Lake Corners South shopping center offers dining and shopping options.
Florida has the second-highest number of registered EVs in the US, behind only California. Electrify America currently operates more than 350 chargers at 60+ stations in the state, and an additional 10-charger location is expected to open in Orlando soon.
“This new station in Orlando represents our continued commitment to bringing fast, reliable and convenient charging to Florida,” said Anthony Lambkin, VP of Operations at Electrify America. “Florida’s EV community is growing fast, and we’re excited to keep growing with it.”
