The new charging site has opened in Orlando, Florida, and features 24 DC fast chargers capable of delivering up to 350 kW each. It's located at the Sand Lake Corners South shopping centre and serves both local drivers and visitors travelling to nearby attractions, including Disney World and Universal Studios.
Each of the 24 chargers are equipped with CCS connectors, with the location also providing access to Interstate 4 and Orlando International Airport as well as nearby dining and shopping options.
Electrify America already operates more than 350 chargers at over 60 sites across Florida, where the company says had the second highest number of registered EVs in the US in 2025 after California. A further 10-charger site is also set to open in Orlando in the coming months.
The new site comes amid a wider rollout of larger charging hubs by Electrify America. In June, the company opened a 20-bay station in Santa Barbara, CA, equipped with chargers rated at up to 350 kW and a 1.9 MW battery energy storage system. Electrify America has said it surpassed 5,600 chargers across North America in 2025, with drivers completing more than 20 million charging sessions that year.
The company is also expanding its network’s connector options, having announced a wider pilot programme for NACS plugs at selected high-traffic sites in July. The new Orlando station currently only offers CCS connectors.
