VinFast introduces electric bus lineup to the US

Vietnamese EV manufacturer VinFast has announced plans to bring its electric bus models to the US market through a partnership with NexMove Certified, a joint venture of Transportation Management Services (TMS) and Zeem Solutions.

NexMove will offer the buses as a service, combining the vehicle, charging infrastructure, maintenance and operations under a single agreement.

VinFast’s electric bus lineup features LFP battery technology. VinFast’s electric buses are designed for urban transportation and include driver assistance systems that use cameras and radar to provide real-time safety alerts.

Zeem Solutions founder and CEO and NexMove co-founder Paul Gioupis said: “In late July our team visited VinFast’s manufacturing operations, and we were impressed by how many buses we saw in daily service and by the scale and quality of production. This is a proven product with real operating history behind it.”

TMS CEO and NexMove Commercial Director Kevin O’Connor said: “By combining proven electric vehicle technology with integrated transportation and infrastructure solutions, we can help customers move toward fleet electrification with greater confidence, efficiency and reliability.”

VinFast North America CEO Brian Finnerty said: “We are doubling down on our investment in the US and working with partners such as NexMove to help cities, transit operators and businesses accelerate the transition to sustainable mobility. This partnership advances our vision of making electric transportation more accessible while building a lasting presence for VinFast in one of the world’s most important markets.”
