Toyota is charging more for the 2027 Camry, and this time the jump is clear. Every trim costs $700 more on the window sticker than in 2026 once you include the same destination fee, even though the hybrid powertrain and five-grade lineup stay the same.
The base LE now carries a $29,700 manufacturer’s suggested retail price before destination. That MSRP is $700 higher than last year’s $29,000 figure.
Recent pricing breakdowns list the 2027 Camry LE at $29,700 and the XSE at $36,100 before destination. The destination charge itself is unchanged from 2026 at $1,295, so the $700 jump buyers see on the final price tag reflects a higher MSRP on every trim.
Under the hood, nothing changed. The Camry keeps its naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid setup, good for 225 horsepower in front-wheel-drive form, the same output Toyota quoted for the outgoing model year.
With the carryover destination charge added, each of those trims ends up exactly $700 higher than its 2026 equivalent.
Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive remains available across all five grades, and Toyota lists the option at $1,525. With all-wheel drive fitted, output rises to 232 horsepower, and fuel economy on the LE drops slightly from 51 miles per gallon combined to 50 miles per gallon combined.
Standard equipment is broadly similar to 2026, with dual-zone automatic climate control, a six-speaker stereo, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and adaptive cruise control with lane-centering. Toyota now highlights more trim-specific tech, such as a wireless phone charger and Digital Key capability on higher grades like XLE and XSE rather than on every Camry.
