THE WHAT? The Wella Company has announced four senior leadership appointments and a restructuring of its Global Brand and Marketing function to strengthen brand development, product innovation and supply chain operations.
THE DETAILS The company has separated its Global Brand and Global Marketing functions, appointing Yannis Rodocanachi as Chief Brand Officer, effective immediately, and Carole Gardner Diarra as Chief Marketing Officer from 2 November 2026. Victoria Spadaro Grant, currently Chief Science & Innovation Officer at Tate & Lyle, will become Chief Scientific & Product Officer on 18 January 2027, overseeing innovation across six global R&D centres. Javier Huerta, formerly of Imperial Brands, Unilever and Nestlé, will take responsibility for the company’s global supply chain from 1 December 2026. The changes also coincide with the planned retirement of Chief Scientific Officer Peter Coles, who will remain in a part-time advisory role.
THE WHY? The restructuring reflects Wella’s strategy to strengthen brand management, accelerate product innovation and improve operational efficiency across professional and consumer hair care markets. Separating brand development from marketing execution also signals a greater emphasis on omnichannel growth, while investment in R&D and supply chain leadership supports product development, manufacturing capabilities and international distribution.
